Paschimanchal Campus, situated approximately 200 kilometers west of Kathmandu, sprawls across 312 ropanis of picturesque land nestled within the Pokhara valley in the Western Development Region of Nepal. Established with support from the World Bank and UNDP/ILO, Paschimanchal Campus commenced operations in 1987. Initially, it offered a range of trade and technician courses alongside diploma-level programs.

Over time, Paschimanchal Campus expanded its offerings and currently provides bachelor-level courses in Civil, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Geomatics, Computer, and Automobile engineering. In the academic year 1999/2000, it introduced its first Bachelor of Engineering (BE) program in Civil Engineering, subsequently extending its repertoire to include other bachelor’s programs.

In 2015, Paschimanchal Campus initiated master’s programs, now boasting five diverse offerings: M.Sc. in Communication and Knowledge Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering and Management, Distributed Generation, Rock and Tunnel Engineering, and Geospatial Engineering. The institution takes pride in its students’ commendable academic achievements and their active participation in extracurricular activities.

As a constituent of the Institute of Engineering, Tribhuvan University (IOE-TU), Paschimanchal Campus contributes to producing top-performing graduates who excel in their respective fields across various educational institutions. It stands as a testament to IOE’s stature as one of the premier technical education institutes in Asia.
